This hands-on class, August 22 from 10:00-11:30am, is the first of a three-part series and will take the overwhelm out of canning. We will cover all the essential skills of canning and with these basic skills you can take any canning recipe and feel confident about doing it at home. We will also talk about how to adapt canning to your schedule and your family’s tastes.
The class instructor will be Anna Geyer.
Part II of the Harvest & Preservation class will focus on pickling and fermentation. Part III will cover drying, freezing and root cellar storage
