Diane Hatz, Founder & Executive Director, Change Food

Diane Hatz is a creative marketing expert and events innovator who raises public awareness about problems and solutions with food and farming while activating individuals to create change. She is currently Founder & Executive Director of Change Food where she uses her expertise to develop creative projects, raise awareness, and motivate people to take actions to change the food system. Change Food is home to the Change Food Video Library and the Quickbites video series.

Diane was also founder and organizer for TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat” from 2010 – 2015.
TEDxManhattan was an annual event that brought together key experts in the food and farming movement to discuss issues with the U.S. food system. Videos from the event have been viewed well over 6 million times. Diane also worked at the GRACE Communications Foundation for 12 years, where she founded and directed the hugely successful consumer education program Sustainable Table; was executive producer of The Meatrix movies, critically acclaimed, award-winning animated films on factory farming; and was founder of the online sustainable food directory the Eat Well Guide.

Change Food Video Library

CFLibraryLogo1The Change Food Video Library is a collection of the best short-length videos about issues impacting sustainable food and farming. These professionally filmed educational shorts come from different conferences, events, organizations and outlets. They include presentations from TEDxManhattan (2011-2015), Change Food and other food-related conferences and events.

The Video Library contains educational kits, study guides and further information about the issues presented in the online talks. The Library also provides templates and information so that anyone anywhere can put on their own video event or educational get together.

TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat”

Diane Hatz founded and organized TEDxManhattan “Changing the Way We Eat” from 2010 until 2015. The five annual events brought together key experts in the field of sustainable food and farming in order to spark discussion and help spread ideas that can help fix our broken food system. Videos from TEDxManhattan are archived in the Change Food Video Library.
